Camfil, the world’s leading provider of air filtration solutions, and GeneralAire Systems, its distribution partner and representative for New Jersey and Pennsylvania, exhibited their latest supply and exhaust housings at the ISPE Technology Showcase. The expo, which was held at New Jersey’s Hyatt Regency New Brunswick on September 12, between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m, also gave attendees the opportunity to see Camfil’s new CREO software, an innovative platform designed to help consulting engineers choose sustainable air filtration products that deliver optimal performance while requiring minimal energy.
At the show, attendees got the chance to speak with Camfil and GeneralAire air filtration experts and see demonstrations of Camfil’s new Pharmaseal and Pharmatain supply and exhaust housings. Among the unique product features that were demonstrated were an exhaust test shroud and an auto-scan capability, which was shown for the first time in Camfil’s Pharmatain BIBO housing.
The new CREO software — which combines Camfil’s renowned Cleanroom Design and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) software — was also demonstrated, giving consulting engineers and other attendees the opportunity to see how it can help them select energy efficient supply and exhaust housings, HEPA air filters, and AHU filtration systems. Among CREO’s unique capabilities is its ability to quantify the energy consumption of a product the user is considering.
Camfil experts were available throughout the show to answer questions about the products on display, to discuss the latest industry trends and air filtration solutions, and to show how energy efficient designs can lower energy costs even as they provide improved performance.
Indeed, Camfil air filtration solutions leverage design innovations like fine fiber media to do a better job of filtering harmful particles while maintaining efficiency throughout their service life. Hospitals and healthcare facilities that have switched to sustainable Camfil filters have been able not only to reduce airborne infections — a particular worry within a hospital environment — but also their energy costs, with many healthcare facilities reporting annual savings of up to 40 percent.
Biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical and high-tech manufacturers, office buildings, and educational institutions have also seen significant savings — while seeing dramatic increases in indoor air quality. Customers call it a win-win. At Camfil, we call it the future of air filtration — a future that’s obtainable now.
The world leader in air filtration systems, Camfil provides clean air solutions for hospitals and the healthcare industry, hotels, office buildings, educational institutions, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and biotech companies. We provide the tools to achieve sustainability, maintain high air quality, and reduce airborne infections — all while lowering total cost of ownership.
