Camfil then tested two different filter combinations, finding that the best results – based on criteria including contaminant removal efficiency, contaminant holding capacity, and resistance to airflow — came with the use of Camfil’s 2-inch FARR 30/30 and 12-inch Durafil ES. This combination also significantly outlasted the bottler’s existing solution – which meant significant cost savings.

Indeed, by switching to the Camfil air filters, the bottler was able to reduce its annual total filter consumption from 1,920 air filters to just 360. Meanwhile, the greater efficiency of the new filters meant less energy was required. In total, the material, maintenance, and energy savings amounted to more than $43,000 a year – achieved while performance – of the air filters and the production line, as well — increased.
